Inspiring Change Every Day with Grace
A Future in Motion

You are planting something every day. Most times, you don’t even realise it; one thought and one reaction. That harmless conversation you kept entertaining. The routine you brushed off as “not that deep.”
But here’s the thing, decisions don’t stay decisions. They grow, they multiply and they eventually produce something. Every choice is a seed, and seeds never stay buried forever.
The future doesn’t come to us randomly. It responds to the patterns we set today. Think about it. Every farmer knows not to expect yams from corn. Why then do we expect a healthy relationship when we keep putting up bad attitudes?
It sounds simple, but it’s true: you can’t harvest what you haven’t planted. That means your future isn’t far away, it’s just the fruit of your present.
Your habits, the small daily ones, matter more than your biggest dreams. Waking up early, praying, showing up and listening to wise counsel. These things aren’t exciting but they are effective.
They are slow-growing seeds that become oak trees. One consistent action today can be the reason your life looks radically different a year from now.
Let’s talk about relationships too. Every person you allow into your life is either feeding your future or fighting it. It’s that black and white. Surrounding yourself with people who love God, speak truth, correct you, and stretch your vision? That’s a strategic seed. Your inner circle is either fertiliser or fungus.
And then there’s belief. What do you believe about yourself? About God? About life? Because your beliefs frame your choices. If you believe you’re not good enough, you’ll settle.
If you believe God doesn’t have a plan, you’ll rush ahead. Many people are making decisions not based on truth, but based on wounds. That’s how you end up planting fear instead of faith.
You’re always choosing even when you think you’re not. Inaction is also a choice. So the goal is not to live in fear, but to live awake. Your life is in motion as long as you keep choosing.
What are you allowing in your daily routine? What are you feeding your mind? Who gets access to your time? Because over time, these tiny seeds become the harvest you’ll have to eat from, good or bad.
So before you ask God to change your future, ask yourself: What am I sowing now? Heaven responds to intentionality. You don’t need to change everything in one day. But you can start today with one thing.
One better habit, one healthier boundary, one truth you choose to believe. Don’t underestimate what a single seed can do in the hands of a faithful God.
