Nothing is Guaranteed

We like to think tomorrow will come just as today did. We went to bed yesterday with the assurance of seeing our loved ones again. Thankfully, we did. But guess what? Some didn’t! 

If there is anything life keeps teaching us, it is this, nothing is guaranteed. The future is fragile, unpredictable, and often beyond what our hands can hold. Tomorrow is a gift, not a guarantee.

And that thought alone can stir both fear and freedom. Fear, because it reminds us of how little we can actually control. Freedom, because it shifts the burden off our shoulders and places it in the hands of the One who knows the end from the beginning. 

So, as much as tomorrow is uncertain, and as much as life may surprise you, remember this: there is no safer place to put your future than in God’s hands, and in the end, that is the surest way to truly live.
